The dream of country living became a reality in 2022, when owner and operator of Country Style Real Estate Kel Palin moved to Kapunda on the eve of Halloween.
Ditching the franchise fee and prioritizing a completely personal and tailored service, Country Style Real Estate was born in 2024.

A Passionate Pursuit of Real Estate
Kel’s dream of a country lifestyle became a reality in November 2022. Shortly after settling in, she was approached by one of Barossa Valley’s leading Real Estate operators, which led to her Company being engaged in Sales and Management. This 18-month period was marked by significant achievements, including a successful first sale in Eudunda and a rapid increase in her client base.
Beyond real estate, Kel actively contributed to the Kapunda community. She established a “give what you can/take what you want” stand, created the first local newsletter, and developed a comprehensive business directory consisting of over 300 local businesses. Her commitment to helping others extended to assisting the homeless, drawing on her previous experience with on the Committee of organization Street Kids.
In 2024, Kel took a bold step and launched her own independent real estate agency, Country Style Real Estate. She introduced innovative marketing strategies, including free accessory hire for listed properties, to enhance presentations and attract buyers. To further differentiate her business, she opened a unique homewares and gift shop at 43 Main Street, Kapunda – showcasing her creative flair and offering a range of beautiful products. Many of which are handcrafted by her husband, David. And an abundance of hire items for her Vendors or anyone that needed to spruce up their home. She wanted to be able to have an approachable place, for people to talk Real Estate and it’s thrived ever since.
Kel’s passion for real estate and community engagement is evident in her dedication to providing exceptional service. She offers comprehensive support to clients, including assistance with relocation, decluttering, gardening, and redecorating. By eliminating franchise fees, she is able to pass on savings to her clients.
With 35 properties sold in the last 18-months alone, including 3 of the highest value sales recorded in Kapunda (one being a massive $890,000) Country Style Real Estate’s passion for customer service is only matched by their ability to exceed your expectations.
